Luxury in the Kitchen

Fantasies turned real, including a refrigerator that morphs into an oven.

If you look up “luxury” in a home-oriented dictionary today, what you’ll find is a picture of a kitchen. The kitchen has become an adult’s Disneyland—a place where, if you wish upon a star, dreams really do come true and anything is possible. Here are just a few of the fantasylike options that can easily become reality in kitchens today.

 

The room that used to hold merely an icebox and a range now harbors all sorts of innovative devices for cooking, baking, roasting, making and keeping foods hot or cold, and streamlining the cleanup. Appliances, therefore, are a natural starting point for any conversation about luxury in the kitchen.
